Job Title: Shift Radiographer

We are seeking a skilled Radiographer to join our team at University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust. As a Shift Radiographer, you will play a vital role in the delivery of high-quality diagnostic imaging services.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead the delivery of radiotherapy treatment, ensuring accurate and timely completion of patient workloads.
  • Calculate and record radiotherapy treatments with precision, maintaining accurate patient records and confidentiality of medical information.
  • Provide exceptional patient care, communicating effectively to ensure patient comfort and understanding during imaging procedures.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality diagnostic images, utilizing IT systems for image processing and storage.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Therapeutic Radiography or Diploma of College of Radiographers.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Understanding of the wider Radiotherapy agenda, including Radiotherapy specialised commissioning and service specifications.
