Main Responsibilities- Leadership and Management: Lead a team of radiographers, providing guidance, support, and direction to ensure the smooth operation of the radiotherapy unit.
- Patient Care: Ensure the well-being and care of patients during their radiotherapy treatment, working closely with other healthcare professionals to provide a comprehensive and compassionate service.
- Treatment Planning and Delivery: Calculate and record radiotherapy treatments accurately, ensuring that patients receive the correct dosage and treatment plan.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other departments and teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
- Qualifications: Degree in Therapeutic Radiography or Diploma of College of Radiographers, with registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Experience: Proven experience in radiotherapy, with a strong understanding of modern radiotherapy techniques and equipment.
- Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
