The Opportunity:

This role offers a unique chance to work with a specialist, secure residential home providing care and support to children with complex needs. As a member of our dedicated team, you will play a vital role in creating a safe and therapeutic environment, helping children to recover from difficult life experiences.

You will be responsible for forming positive relationships with the children, acting as a 'therapeutic parent' and role-model. This will involve working closely with our on-site education and health and wellbeing team to provide a structured, stimulating and caring environment.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work a shift pattern of alternate weekends with a mixture of early and late shifts and sleep-in duties, to suit their home-life balance. Flexible working requests can be considered.

As part of our commitment to ongoing training and development, you will be provided with a thorough induction programme, including mandatory training.

About You:

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about helping children and have the emotional intelligence and resilience to work in a challenging environment. Experience of working with children or young people is an advantage, but not essential. We offer a range of training and development opportunities to support your personal and professional growth.

Vetting Requirements:

This role requires an Enhanced DBS disclosure and Safeguarding Check. We will take up references prior to interview and contact previous employers for additional references if necessary.
