We are seeking a skilled Placement Broker to join our team at Lawes Consulting Group. As a Placement Broker, you will be responsible for assisting in the placement of new and existing commercial insurance business, while developing and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, insurance companies, carriers, and partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with commercial insurance clients, insurance companies, and carriers to design and implement effective marketing campaigns.
  • Develop bespoke programs tailored to client needs, ensuring a cost-effective and professional broking service.
  • Assist colleagues in the placement of SME, mid, and large commercial insurance risks, adhering to company and FCA regulations.
  • Identify correct markets for risk placement and negotiate with insurers to secure optimal outcomes.
  • Prepare market presentations and maintain accurate Acturis records.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of broking commercial insurance business risks.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of commercial insurance products, including motor, property, EL, PL, commercial combined, business interruption, etc.
  • Strong communication, business development, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a sales environment and build relationships with insurers.
  • Acturis experience and CII exams or working towards preferred.
