Job Title: Insurance Placement Specialist

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Placement Specialist to join our team at Lawes Consulting Group. As an Insurance Placement Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting in the placement of new and existing commercial insurance business, while developing and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, insurance companies, carriers, and partners.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • **Client Relationships:** Liaise with new and existing commercial insurance clients, insurance companies, and carriers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • **Marketing Campaigns:** Design and implement marketing campaigns to promote our services and attract new business.
  • **Programme Development:** Build bespoke programmes in line with client needs, ensuring that our services meet their requirements.
  • **Risk Placement:** Assist colleagues in the placement of SME, mid, and large commercial insurance risks, identifying the correct markets for placement.
  • **Business Development:** Identify new business and cross-sell opportunities, preparing market presentations and negotiating with insurers.
  • **Record Keeping:** Maintain accurate records of client interactions and business activities using Acturis.
  • **Regulatory Compliance:** Adhere to company and FCA regulations and guidelines, ensuring that our services are delivered in a professional and compliant manner.

**Requirements:**

  • **Experience:** Track record of broking new and existing commercial insurance business risks.
  • **Knowledge:** Comprehensive knowledge of commercial insurance products, including motor, property, EL, PL, commercial combined, business interruption, etc.
  • **Skills:** Strong communication, business development, and presentation skills, with the ability to thrive in a sales environment.
  • **Certifications:** Acturis experience preferred, with CII exams or working towards preferred.
