Job Title: Teaching Assistant Level 2 + SEND

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team at St William of York Catholic Primary School. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in a vibrant and multicultural environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students with SEND in a classroom setting, providing individualized attention and assistance as needed.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement effective learning plans for students with SEND.
  • Assist with the preparation and implementation of lessons, including setting up materials and equipment.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to students with SEND, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
