Job Title: Teaching Assistant Level 2 + SEND

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team at St William of York Catholic Primary School. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational needs of our students, particularly those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the class teacher in delivering lessons and activities to students with SEND
  • Assist with the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with SEND
  • Provide one-to-one support to students with SEND, as needed
  • Contribute to the creation of a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualifications and experience in supporting students with SEND
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Commitment to the values of a Catholic school serving a multicultural community
