As a key member of the finance department, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions and records, with a focus on sales and purchase ledger management, bank receipts and payments, credit control, and supplier account reconciliation.

  • Sales and Purchase Ledger Management: Maintain accurate records of sales and purchase transactions.
  • Bank Receipts and Payments: Control and monitor bank transactions, reconcile bank statements.
  • Credit Control: Implement effective credit control procedures, monitor customer accounts, chase overdue payments, and manage credit limits.
  • Reconciliation of Supplier Accounts: Reconcile supplier accounts, stay up-to-date with exchange rates, and minimize associated risks.
  • Reporting: Produce detailed cost and sales reports using financial systems.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Sage Line 50 is required.
  • A strong understanding of accounting principles and previous experience in a similar role are essential.
  • A good knowledge of bookkeeping practices is necessary for success in this position.

This rewarding role offers a salary of £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, reflecting the importance of your contribution to our organization.
