We are seeking a highly skilled Serious Case Review Professional to join our team at Hampshire County Council. As a permanent employee, you will be based in Winchester and play a vital role in supporting the head of the Serious Case & Crime Review Team.

About the Role

Your primary responsibility will be to provide a force capacity to engage in Serious Case Review processes, ensuring that learning is embedded in policy and practice. You will work closely with the head of the team to implement recommendations and coordinate activities to embed them into working practices.

To excel in this role, you must stay up-to-date with current best practices, procedures, and policies surrounding public protection disciplines. This includes Child Abuse, Adult Abuse, Domestic Abuse, Missing Persons, and Multi-Agency Public Protection Arrangements.

  • You will assist in implementing recommendations from Serious Case Reviews and coordinate activities to ensure they are embedded into our working practices.
  • Stay current with best practices, procedures, and policies around public protection disciplines, including Child Abuse, Adult Abuse, Domestic Abuse, Missing Persons, and Multi-Agency Public Protection Arrangements.
Essential Qualifications
  1. Educated to QCF Level 6 or have equivalent work experience that has brought your skills to a comparable level.
  2. Proven experience and skill in writing and preparing reports.
