Key Responsibilities- Act as a trusted advisor to the business, providing guidance on risk and control matters, commercial growth initiatives, and change.
- Foster a good risk culture by raising awareness about the importance of risk management and control across Broker Distribution.
- Ensure the ongoing provision of risk management advice and guidance to guarantee sound business decisions are made.
- Support the ongoing embedding of Consumer Duty and the Conduct reporting across the Commercial Lines business.
- Interpret and apply framework requirements to align with business objectives.
- Set and chair the risk functional risk forums, including the agenda, and identify and manage risks proactively.
- Evaluate the control environment to enhance existing controls and processes to ensure they align with business standards and policies, while simplifying processes.
- Broker Distribution oversight and governance knowledge.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills at all levels, with proven business partnering experience.
- Proven track record of influencing C-Suite and senior stakeholders on all things Risk and Conduct, either 1st or 2nd line.
- Knowledge of the General Insurance market and associated regulatory frameworks.
- Knowledge of Consumer Duty and/or associated FCA regulation relating to the Broker market, including the implementation, governance, and MI and reporting.
- Starting salary circa £80,000 (National) / circa £90,000 (London) (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications).
- Bonus opportunity - 12% of annual salary; Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva's.
