About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk and Governance Manager to join our Aviva Customer & Marketing (C&M) function. As a key member of the team, you will play a critical role in supporting the Head of C&M Governance & Assurance and the wider C&M Senior Leadership Team in creating a strong risk culture to deliver their risk management obligations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate risk-related activities such as monitoring and reporting on our risk scorecard, training, emerging risk assessments, risk & control self-assessments (RCSAs), quality assurance monitoring of our operational risk records, and C&M risk analysis, reporting & escalation to the C&M Senior Leadership team and second-line Risk.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of operational risk frameworks and risk management practices within the Financial Services industry, preferably in insurance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including the C&M Senior Leadership Team, second-line Risk, and other key stakeholders.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on risk management and governance matters to the C&M Senior Leadership Team and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of risk management strategies and policies to ensure the effective management of risk across the C&M function.
