Role / Department


The London-based Asset Management division of Northern Trust, NTAM International, handles investment relationships in the UK, Europe, Middle East, and Asia Pacific. This role is based in London and focuses on client onboardings and transitions.


Duties


As the Onboarding Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating client onboardings, ongoing account maintenance, client operational flows, and transition events within investment management. This includes record keeping, report production, processing client subscriptions and redemptions, and coordinating with the third-party asset servicing team.


Responsibilities


You will ensure system information is accurate and up-to-date, monitor trust operations, and account for activities to guarantee client services are facilitated. This role requires excellent communication skills to work with Internal NTAM teams, external parties, and NTAM clients.


Requirements


A number of years' experience in a similar operations role with a proven track record of working with static data and operation teams is essential. Operational knowledge of Unit Trusts, Asset Management, Custodians, client fee billing, and client reporting is desirable.


Competencies


Demonstrates excellent analytical, consultative, communication, and judgment skills. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, both internally and externally, is required.
