On Line Group is currently seeking a highly skilled Head of Mechanical and Piping to lead our Engineering team.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sourcing and executing work for the department, ensuring timely completion of tenders and accurate cost estimates.
  2. Monitoring staff requirements and talent acquisition through effective recruitment, mentoring, and training.
  3. Implementing quality control measures to guarantee adherence to quality, timescale, and budget targets.
  4. Acting as a technical expert, setting design specifications on projects and driving technical assurance and safety by design.
  5. Collaborating with other departments to ensure efficient project execution and customer satisfaction.

Key Skills and Competencies:

  1. Proven track record of building and retaining dynamic engineering teams.
  2. Proficient in design using tools such as Autocad Plant 3D, creation of cats and specs, Navisworks Manage / Clash detection and chairing model reviews.
  3. Good working knowledge of AMSE codes B31.3 / 4, standards & specifications. BS EN 13480, PED / PER.
  4. Chartered With IMechE with a design engineering bias.
  5. Technical Expert, Business driven, Accepts ownership, is accountable and delivers on commitments.
