Business Development Manager for Local Government and Education

Are you passionate about solving complex problems using big data and AI? Databricks is a leading company in this space, and we're looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Public Sector Sales team, you will be responsible for opening new logo accounts within the Local Government and Education sector.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in new business development, with experience selling to public sector accounts and exceeding sales targets. You should also have experience driving successful adoption of usage-based subscription services (SaaS) and co-selling with cloud teams. Additionally, you should be familiar with public sector procurement frameworks and mechanisms, as well as methods for developing business cases and gaining support from C-level Executives.

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a customer-focused approach. You will work closely with our teams and partners to provide exceptional value to our customers and drive growth within the Local Government and Education sectors. Your success will be measured by your ability to close new logos, grow existing accounts, and identify and engage all buying centers to guide deals forward.

We offer a competitive salary, estimated at £80,000 - £120,000 per year, depending on experience.
