About the Role



We are seeking an experienced CQC Support Specialist to join our team, providing crucial support to local authorities in delivering their adult social care duties under Part 1 of the Care Act 2014.



This role will be based at our office in Westminster or home-based, with occasional travel to London and other parts of England. The successful candidate will have experience of working within adult social care, ideally with knowledge of the CQC assessment process.



Your Key Responsibilities




  • Liaise with local authorities to arrange direct support and manage contractors as needed
  • Steer processes to ensure timely and high-quality support delivery
  • Develop and implement new types of support in response to emerging needs


What We Offer



This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in adult social care, with a competitive salary ranging from £40,000 to £55,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also have access to ongoing training and development opportunities.



Requirements




  • Experience of adult social care within local government
  • Strong relationship and influencing skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work in a high-profile position representing the views of local government
  • Comfortable working independently and proactively designing and delivering your own work programme
