About the Role

As a Paint Chemist at System Recruitment, you will be part of a dynamic research and development team. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing new products and processes through laboratory testing and trial runs.
  • Ensuring the efficient operation of the R&D Laboratory, working closely with the Technical Manager to optimize workflows.
  • Conducting thorough analyses and investigations to identify areas for improvement, proposing solutions to enhance product quality and efficiency.
  • Maintaining high-quality standards by adhering to company policies and procedures, collaborating with colleagues to address any issues that arise.
  • Producing detailed reports on research findings, presenting results to the Technical Director and discussing implications with stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative solutions.
  • Demonstrating expertise in colour matching and Quality Control of colour collateral.

Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 per annum (dependent on experience), based on location and qualifications.
