Job Summary
The successful candidate will be based between County Hall and Valentine Centre and will be required to travel between the bases.
We are expanding our Neurodevelopmental offer to the children and young people of Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland, and Leicestershire Partnership Trust has the opportunity to grow our team to positively impact the experience for children, young people, and their families.
This post is part of the Neurodevelopment Improvement Programme, which aims to improve the outcomes of children and young people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder by identifying resources committed to their diagnosis and care, agreeing opportunities for improvement, and implementing new delivery, finance, and workforce models.
Post holders will need to have the skills and character to consistently deliver high-quality care and work creatively at pace with colleagues with our children and families at the centre.
The successful applicant will be at the core of the exciting work and improvements for our local population, working to make a significant impact on reducing the waiting list and improving access to support for children.
Main Duties of the Job
To provide comprehensive high-level specialist administration support within the remit of the aligned team, service, or Senior Manager:
- Responsibility for work activities in own aligned area, the majority of which are non-routine.
- To lead, manage, and develop the administration team within the area of responsibility, allocating and delegating work responsibilities, and monitoring performance in line with KPIs and Standard Operating Procedures.
- To help the team or individual with time and daily management, including the scheduling of meetings/clinics, correspondence, note-taking, completion of actions, and coordination of events and project work, ensuring that actions of self and others are completed within required deadlines.

For all substantive roles, new staff (excluding medical staff) are appointed subject to a 6-month probationary period. All jobs will require permission to work in the UK.
