Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Apprentice Structural Engineer to join our team at CST Industries, Inc. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for performing structural analysis and design of various metal storage tanks.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and analyze metal storage tanks, including liquid and dry bulk storage, for various sizes and configurations.
  2. Collaborate with sales, drafting, and manufacturing teams to ensure timely and accurate design and delivery of tanks.
  3. Review and approve drawings and structural design calculations to ensure compliance with industry standards and company specifications.
  4. Assist senior engineers with complex design projects and provide support as needed.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Civil, Architectural, or Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited engineering school. A Professional Engineering license in Structural and/or Civil engineering is also required. Additionally, experience with ACAD and/or solid modeling, as well as Excel macro programming, is a plus.
