Care and Support Team Leader

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our dedicated team at Bupa. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of Care Assistants, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure high-quality care delivery.
- Collaborate with the Nurse to support clinical duties, including observing, issuing medication, reviewing care plans, and maintaining accurate records.
- Develop and implement training programs for new staff members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, their families, and external teams, such as GPs and District Nurses.
- Assist residents with various personal care duties, promoting independence and dignity.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a passion for delivering high-quality care and support. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing competing priorities and deadlines.
Qualifications and Experience:
A minimum of an NVQ3 in care is required, with previous experience in a similar role. You will also need to be willing to complete any additional training or qualifications necessary to meet the requirements of the role.
