We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Supervisor to join our team at Frontier Agriculture Limited. As a Laboratory Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our grain samples.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough testing and recording of grain samples to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Operate the weighbridge and sampling equipment to assist the site team as required.
- Assist with the training of temporary staff at harvest time.
- Collaborate with the Assistant Lab Manager to train and supervise harvest temporary staff.
- Complete and record relevant tests throughout the year.
- Ensure compliance with all quality assurance requirements.
- Maintain a high standard of working environment.
- Complete all relevant procedures and checks in a timely manner.
- Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to handle telephone calls proficiently with a professional and helpful telephone manner.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels.
- Proven attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, managing own workload and time, while developing effective relationships with colleagues.
- An effective team player with a flexible approach to work, including additional hours at peak season (July-September).
