Job Description

">

We are seeking an experienced Research Assistant to join our team. As a key member of the Microelectronics Lab, you will work closely with Professor Hadi Heidari to contribute to cutting-edge research in magnetoelectric antenna nanofabrication and advanced packaging. Your expertise will be essential in planning, conducting, and documenting research activities, as well as collaborating with colleagues to achieve project objectives.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • ">
  • Conducting individual or joint research under the guidance of the Principal Investigator;">
  • Maintaining and integrating experimental apparatus, computational kits, or theoretical models;">
  • Documenting research output, including data analysis, records, and reports;">
  • Developing your research profile and reputation through publications and presentations;">
  • Contributing to funding proposals and securing external support;">
  • Collaborating with colleagues and participating in team meetings;">
  • Supervising and mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate students;">
  • Performing administrative tasks related to research group activities;">
  • Engaging in personal, professional, and career development;">
  • Undertaking other duties assigned by the Head of School and/or PI.">

  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills;">
  • Experience in scientific writing and publishing research results;">

  • Knowledge of project-specific technical models, equipment, or techniques;">
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the wider subject area or subject specialism;">
  • Proficiency in relevant software, such as Matlab, LabView, R, S-plus, or SAS.">
