Job Title: Culinary Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Culinary Expert to join our team at Wilson Vale. As a Culinary Expert, you will be responsible for creating and serving imaginative food that exceeds expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Creating and serving imaginative food
• Using fresh ingredients and cooking 'little and often' during service
• Serving food wherever possible plated, served in its own one portion dish/bowl, with the use of simple garnishes that are effective and relevant
• Being imaginative and innovative, ideas and innovations adapted to suit customer needs
• Managing the detail of front of house presentation
• Implementation of promotions and special days to enhance offering
• Aadopting good food cost management techniques
• Influencing the catering team to instil a 'nothing is too much trouble' approach
• Delivering imaginative and innovative menus

Requirements:

• Excellent people skills
• General knowledge of food hygiene, have completed at least one year at college or equivalent experience in a similar role
• Passionate about food and customer service
• Superb culinary skills
• Good organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a large team
• Eligibility to work in the UK
