Role Overview

A dedicated Secondary School in Ealing is seeking a highly motivated Graduate to join their team as a Graduate Learning Support Assistant (SEN). This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate with strong academics to gain more experience working with children in a learning environment.

This Graduate Learning Support Assistant (SEN) role involves supporting students with Maths, Reading, Writing, Phonics, and more. You will also be tasked with working with children who have Special Educational Needs (SEND) or Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs by providing 1:1 support and interventions in small groups.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with additional needs and school-based experience is desirable. As a Graduate Learning Support Assistant (SEN), you will work alongside a dedicated team passionate about education.

About the Role

This is a Full-Time, Long-Term role, Term-Time only position with a salary of £9,500 - £10,300 per month. The schedule is Monday to Friday (no weekends).

You will be based in Ealing and the start date is ASAP.

Your Responsibilities

* Working alongside a dedicated team passionate about education
* Supporting students in and out of the classroom
* Providing 1:1 assistance for students with SEND/SEMH needs including ASD, ADHD, dyslexia, and more

Requirements

* A graduate with a high degree (1st class or 2:1) from a reputable university
* Experience working with children and young people
* Previous employment involving working with children with SEND
* An outgoing individual with a 'can-do' attitude
