Job Summary
This is an exciting opportunity to support students with SEMH needs in a secondary school setting. As a SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other staff to create a safe and supportive environment that promotes academic achievement and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students with SEMH needs, providing individualized attention and guidance.
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement effective learning plans, incorporating creative and engaging strategies.
  • Contribute to a positive school culture by promoting social-emotional learning and supporting students in developing essential life skills.
  • Help maintain a well-managed classroom environment, minimizing disruptions and maximizing student engagement.
  • Develop strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.

Requirements:
  • Experience working with students with SEMH needs, preferably in a secondary school setting.
  • Strong understanding of the challenges faced by students with SEMH needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to supporting young people in need.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals.

Salary:£85-£95 per hour.
