Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead our Operational Teams in the successful delivery of the ENW Excavate and Lay contract in the North West.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing teams and delivering projects on time, within budget, and to a high standard. They will be responsible for supervising the delivery teams during the works, attending sites to disseminate Construction Phase Plan information, and ensuring compliance with relevant statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the delivery teams during the works including site set up, excavation, backfill, and reinstatement, and site completion.
- Attend all sites to disseminate Construction Phase Plan information, including RAMS, and brief the team leader on their responsibilities to ensure that the works comply with relevant statutory requirements.
- Supervise the opening and closing of street works permits in accordance with NRSWA, manage agreed Traffic Management and Permit Conditions.
- Ensure all client and operational requirements are met in a professional and efficient manner.
- Complete and record daily measures of works complete for weekly payments.
- Carry out tool box talks to all site personnel and record.
- Liaison with Traffic Management department and local authorities to pre-plan works to minimize disruption.
- Promote the BE:SAFE culture and ensure any safety issues are reported in line with company procedures.
Salary and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary based on experience, around £60,000-£80,000 per annum, along with a full benefits package, including pension scheme, life insurance, and annual leave.
