Description:

Austin Fraser is seeking a skilled and experienced School Network Engineer to join our team in the Preston area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing the school's website and intranet, ensuring internet systems are safe and offer full child protection, and delivering high-quality technical support.

You will work closely with our team to design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, ensuring it meets the highest standards of safety and security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and developing the school's website and intranet
  • Ensuring internet systems are safe and offer full child protection
  • Delivering high-quality technical support
  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of operating systems, networking, hardware, and software commonly used in schools
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Recent experience of working in a school environment or similar setting
  • Hardworking and flexible, and able to use their initiative
