This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a SEMH Support Teacher in Sutton. As a Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) teacher, you will work closely with secondary-aged students who require additional support due to Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver tailored educational programs for secondary-aged students with SEMH needs.">
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.">
  • Implement strategies to support students' social, emotional, and academic development.">
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members.">
  • Monitor and assess students' progress, providing regular feedback and reports.">

Requirements

">

To be eligible for this position, you must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS). Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are also encouraged to apply. A clean and current enhanced DBS on the update service is required, as well as up-to-date Safeguarding training.
