Job Overview
This role is designed for someone with a QCF level 3 in health and social care or equivalent experience. You will work closely with the Manager to implement policies, procedures, and business objectives. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining accurate records and monitoring their effectiveness.
- Liaising with the Manager across various operational activities.
- Managing the Home during the Manager's absence.
- Providing quality care to vulnerable adults within a residential setting.
- Monitoring standards of care delivered by qualified and unqualified care staff.
- Contributing to team collaborative working and responding positively to colleagues.
- Assisting with the management and motivation of staff through training, development, supervision, appraisals, and mentoring.
- Facilitating person-centred activities promoting dignity, independence, and well-being.
What We're Looking For
You will need to possess excellent communication skills, be computer literate, and have strong relationship-building skills. A passion for supporting individuals with learning disabilities and mental health needs is essential. You should also be committed to enabling people to live fulfilled and independent lives.
