We are seeking an Oncology Specialist Pharmacist to join our team at our state-of-the-art cancer care centre located in Windsor for a 12-month fixed term contract.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified pharmacist to provide pharmaceutical expertise and input into the care of patients with cancer. As an Oncology Specialist Pharmacist, you will be responsible for facilitating the daily running of the Pharmacy Department, providing a safe and effective medicines management service to all patients, staff, consultants and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a comprehensive clinical pharmacy and medicine management service to oncology patients, ensuring a consistent level of service in accordance with GenesisCare policies.
  • Provide expert advice on pharmaceutical matters in oncology, at a highly specialist level.
  • Provide clinical checking of chemo and final release to nursing staff.
  • Experience in oncology and haematology, as well as dispensing medicines and experience of medicine management in a hospital setting.
  • Attention to detail, ensuring accurate recording of data, including patient drug history.
About You

We are looking for a motivated and experienced pharmacist who can work effectively as part of a team. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to plan and organise straightforward tasks and programmes.

As an employee of GenesisCare, you will benefit from a competitive salary, estimated to be around £60,000-£80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
