Mental Health Outreach Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Outreach Coordinator to join our Community CAMHS team in Bedfordshire. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting young people transition from CAMHS into adult mental health services.
In this dynamic and rewarding position, you will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide individualized support, advice, and information to young people and their families. You will have the opportunity to develop and implement creative 1:1 sessions, community group programs, and other initiatives that promote positive mental health outcomes for our clients.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and engagement skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups, including young people, their families, and other professionals. You should also have a positive attitude towards working with people with mental health problems, as well as a strong commitment to promoting equality and diversity.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in community mental health services or a similar role, with a strong understanding of risk assessment/management, maintaining professional boundaries, and advocating on behalf of young people. They will also have advanced verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor their message to various audiences.
