About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Cambian Group. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children and young people in our residential settings.

Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the physical, emotional, and psychological well-being of our residents. This will involve developing and maintaining positive relationships, promoting independence, and supporting residents in their daily lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to residents, promoting their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, their families, and other stakeholders
  • Support residents in their daily lives, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of care plans
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals, including clinical staff and local authorities
Requirements

We are looking for individuals who possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and support. While previous experience in a similar role is desirable, it is not essential. What is essential is a willingness to learn, a positive attitude, and a passion for working with children and young people.

We offer a comprehensive training program, which includes a 10-day intensive induction course, face-to-face and online learning, and ongoing support and development opportunities.

What We Offer
  • A competitive salary and benefits package
  • Ongoing training and development opportunities
  • A supportive and collaborative team environment
  • The opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of children and young people

We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from individuals who share our commitment to providing high-quality care and support.
