Area Sales Manager Role

A competitive salary of up to £70,000 per year is available for this role.

About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to cover the Kent region. As a seasoned sales professional, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with Managed Account Customers, covering major projects and framework revenues within the area operating model.

Your key responsibilities will include researching key business sectors, dealing effectively with sales leads, ensuring targeted appointments and meetings are met or exceeded, achieving predetermined monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets, negotiating contracts and framework agreements, and providing regular updates and forecasts.

Ainscough Crane Hire is a leading crane company with a reputation for delivering projects safely, on time, and to budget. We have a dedicated team of experts across 30 locations, and we're looking for someone who shares our passion for excellence.

Requirements
  • Prior sales role(s) and proven influencing and negotiation ability
  • An understanding of crane hire and the market is helpful but not essential; a technical sales background is preferred
  • A high achiever who is career-orientated and likes to work to challenging goals
  • Educated to A-Levels
  • IT literate and familiar with Microsoft office products, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
