Job Title: Groups Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Groups Business Development Manager to join our team at Travel Trade Recruitment. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business growth and revenue targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and colleagues
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including tenders and RFPs
  • Prepare and present competitive quotes and proposals to clients
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and operations, to ensure seamless delivery of sales initiatives
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in the travel industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Fluency in English, with Spanish/Portuguese language skills an advantage
