About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Radiographer to join our team at Nuffield Health Brentwood Hospital. As a Senior Radiographer, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of a high-quality diagnostic imaging service, undertaking a wide range of radiographic examinations, and providing clinical leadership within a specialist field in Diagnostic Imaging.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform radiological procedures as required, in accordance with department protocols and Ionising Radiation (Medical Exposure) Regulations (IRMER).
  • Provide clinical leadership within a specialist field in Diagnostic Imaging, including day-to-day supervision of staff, induction, development, training, and input into recruitment and performance review.
  • Work alongside the Radiation Protection Supervisor to assist in monitoring, reviewing, developing, and maintaining systems of work that ensure radiation exposure is restricted.
Requirements
  • You hold a BSC degree in diagnostic radiography (or equivalent), a postgraduate qualification, and be HCPC registered. Radiation Protection Supervisor training/qualification would be desirable.
