About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Industrialisation Work Package Manager to join our team at Thales. As a key member of our industrialisation team, you will be responsible for leading and implementing major industrial projects, ensuring the efficient manufacture of conforming product in support of project deliverables.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and plan industrial projects, ensuring timely scheduling of engineering, facilities, tooling, and related activities.
  • Provide training to project personnel on process/project matters and ensure your own skills are consistent with the demands of the job.
  • Assess and approve pre/post freeze design activities and manufacturing processes, both internal and external.
  • Support new industrial projects, ensuring technical quality of the team, particularly with regard to product manufacturability and test, and manufacturing cost.
  • Responsible for the timely scheduling of engineering, facilities, tooling, and related activities within the project, ensuring project milestones are achieved.
Requirements
  • Education to degree level or equivalent in a relative engineering/manufacturing engineering discipline.
  • Typically, experience in a Senior Industrial Operations/Manufacturing Engineering role or in another Senior Engineering or Programmes role.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing programme management/work-package management, implementation of test strategies, product life cycle phases, estimating techniques, industrial engineering, and financial awareness.
