Sales and Customer Service Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Sales Coordinator to join our dynamic team at Reed. As a Sales Coordinator, you will play a key role in coordinating the day-to-day management of customer orders and enquiries, preparing commercial tenders, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Order Management: Coordinate the management of customer orders and enquiries using company software, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Commercial Tender Preparation: Prepare commercial tenders and quotations within customer deadlines or agreed timescales, ensuring high-quality and accurate documentation.
- Customer Service: Handle inbound calls, building effective customer relationships and maintaining high levels of customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving issues efficiently.
- Email and Inbox Management: Monitor and action email activity on the shared sales inbox, ensuring proper distribution to respective departments/individuals, and maintaining a high level of organization and efficiency.
- Customer Business Requirements: Understand and address customer business requirements and queries upon receipt of sales opportunities, providing solutions and recommendations to meet customer needs.
- Customer Complaints: Manage customer complaints efficiently to ensure quick resolution and remedial action, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Warehouse Liaison: Liaise with the warehouse team to ensure on-time deliveries of customer orders, maintaining a high level of communication and coordination.
- Customer Updates: Proactively update customers on order progress via phone and email, maintaining a high level of customer communication and satisfaction.
- Sales Support: Provide sales support to management, including data gathering and prospecting opportunities, contributing to the growth and development of the sales team.
- Time Management: Manage time effectively, prioritizing key customers, tasks, and enquiries, maintaining a high level of productivity and efficiency.
- International Team Liaison: Liaise with international teams for updates on shipping, product releases, and order progress, maintaining a high level of communication and coordination.
- Sales and Product Training: Participate in Sales and Product training to enhance customer service and product knowledge, maintaining a high level of expertise and professionalism.
- Quotation Follow-up: Follow up on outstanding quotations to obtain feedback and increase conversion rates, contributing to the growth and development of the sales team.
- KPIs and Sales Targets: Work with management to meet KPIs and sales targets, maintaining a high level of performance and achievement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, with a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
- Time Management and Prioritization: Excellent time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- Communication and Customer Service: Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Teamwork and Independence: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
- Product and Software Training: Full product and software training will be provided, with a high level of support and development.
- Manufacturing/Engineering Industry Knowledge: Manufacturing/Engineering industry knowledge or background is welcomed but not essential, with a high level of transferable skills and experience.
