ROLE

Cammach Bryant is seeking a skilled Tendering Specialist to join their team. Located in Aberdeen, this permanent, full-time role offers hybrid working arrangements.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Develop a comprehensive tender estimate, ensuring accuracy and optimization, and coordinating inputs from internal support functions.
  2. Establish and maintain an effective interface with internal and external stakeholders, including regional tendering teams and PG Management.
  3. Draft internal tender authorization papers, presentations, and documents, including presenting or supporting presentations to PG Management.
  4. Control the efficient performance of the tender, adhering to the tender schedule, tracking actions, and facilitating gate review meetings.
  5. Support the Tender Lead in preliminary screening of risk and qualifications register and consolidating input from technical departments.
  6. Contribute to maintaining tendered data records, supporting management analysis, forecasting, and tender benchmarking.
  7. Manage the handover of awarded project estimates to PG Cost Controllers.
REQUIREMENTS
  1. Previous experience in a Tendering environment is desirable, but relevant commercial/technical experience is also welcomed.
  2. Effective communication and time management skills, with the ability to coordinate, track, and motivate the tender team.
  3. Thorough approach with analytical skills to consolidate, challenge, review, and present confidently all elements of the tender costing.
  4. Commitment to confidentiality and integrity, with strict adherence to Company tendering processes.
  5. Commercial awareness and numeracy, with the ability to work with detail and accuracy.
  6. Enhanced planning and organization skills, with the ability to identify and prioritize workload effectively.
  7. Ability to develop and adapt to role requirements, demonstrating an interest in personal development.
  8. Commitment to continuous improvement and identification of efficient work methods and processes.
  9. Willingness to travel for occasional short assignments within the UK and globally.
