Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Specialist to join our Private Debt team, focusing on Corporate Private and Structured Credit strategies. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for driving the product agenda for Alternative Credit investments across DWS.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for existing and new product initiatives, coordinating the product roadmap for fundraising with the Client Coverage Division (CCD)
  • Lead the development of new concepts in partnership with CCD and the Investment Division (ID) to extend access to Alternatives with a focus on Alternative Credit to different client segments
  • Develop content, including pitchbooks, market and peer analysis, and provide ongoing training and transparency to CCD
  • Attend industry conferences to present DWS' Private Debt capabilities and maintain market knowledge
  • Design end-to-end investment solutions in your respective area of responsibility
Your Skills and Experience
  • Proven experience in Asset Management with expertise in Private Debt or Alternative Credit
  • Familiarity with Corporate Private Credit, Structured Credit, and traditional Fixed Income, as well as strong knowledge of fund structures, regulatory, and tax treatment
  • Strong understanding of Insurance regulation and capital charge treatment of Alternative Credit asset classes
  • Strategic mindset with ability to work collaboratively to define and implement business initiatives
  • Excellent communication skills with experience presenting regularly to senior forums
  • Delivery-focused with strong resilience and drive to move the business forward
  • Educated to Master's degree level or higher; professional qualifications such as CFA or CISI are desirable
