Job Title: Deputy Service Manager - Leadership Role

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at Dove Adolescent Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Registered Manager in the delivery of high-quality care to young people in our residential care settings.

Key Responsibilities:

* Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day management of the home
* Lead a team of care workers to ensure good outcomes for young people
* Develop and deliver high-quality care in accordance with relevant legislation and guidelines
* Ensure the home actively promotes the rights of young people as individuals
* Maintain effective records and monitoring systems

Requirements:

* Level 3 qualification in Children's and Young People's Workforce or equivalent
* Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management or willingness to complete the qualification
* Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of child protection and safeguarding procedures
* Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, young people, and outside agencies
* Ability to maintain emotional resilience in working with challenging behaviour
* Current UK driving licence or use of appropriate transport

Benefits:

* 25 days per annum plus Bank Holidays
* 39 hours full-time, sleep-in duties required as set out per Rota of home
* Petrol allowance - paid when using own car
* Pension - in line with the organisational Pension Scheme and government guidance
