CYPF Support Officer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CYPF Support Officer to join our team at Brackenberry Ltd. The successful candidate will work closely with a Local Authority in Plymouth to assist with the appointment of a CYPF Support Officer on a 3-month contract, with a high likelihood of extension at the client's discretion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver administrative functions appropriate to the specialism, working within timescales and service level agreements.
  • Accurately use digital systems to ensure processes or transactions are administered within guidelines and policies.
  • Provide/run basic data reporting for specific service specialism.
  • Accurately manual and computerised recording of sensitive information and to manage the storage, retention and disposal of sensitive records.

Requirements:

  • GCSEs A*- C (9-4) or equivalent in English and Maths.
  • NVQ3 or equivalent qualification or experience in business support.
  • A willingness to undertake appropriate learning and development as required.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience of using Microsoft Office products and web-based software packages.
  • Experience of providing an effective and efficient customer service to both internal and external customers in line with policies and procedures.
  • Experience of giving information and signposting customers in a tactful and professional manner face to face, over the phone, online and in writing.
  • Demonstrable administrative experience with an understanding of office procedures.
  • Experience of prioritising own workload to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Experience of planning priorities and working to tight deadlines.
  • Experience of maintaining documents, records and data e.g. financial records, customer records or accounts.
  • Experience of working within a team.
