About the Role

Livewell Southwest CIC is seeking a dynamic and experienced Healthcare Team Leader to join our Children, Young People and Families Service (CYPFS).

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of the Mental Health Support Teams (MHST) in line with the emerging national model. This will involve providing a high-quality service to meet the local needs of children, young people, and their parents/carers within a specific educational community setting.

The post holder will be responsible for the overall management of a locality MHST, including line management of staff, financial and performance management. They will use effective leadership, change management, and team building skills to monitor, evaluate, and develop the service provided.

The ideal candidate will have a professional qualification in a relevant field, such as nursing, occupational therapy, or social work, and be registered with the relevant professional body. They will also have experience of providing clinical supervision and managing staff, as well as budget management.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development and implementation of the MHST in line with the emerging national model

Provide a high-quality service to meet the local needs of children, young people, and their parents/carers

Manage a locality MHST, including line management of staff, financial and performance management

Use effective leadership, change management, and team building skills to monitor, evaluate, and develop the service provided

Requirements

Professional qualification in a relevant field (nursing, occupational therapy, social work, etc.)

Registration with the relevant professional body

Experience of providing clinical supervision and managing staff

Budget management skills
