Job Description
The successful candidate will work as part of the Forensic Support Team, providing specialist clinical roles to deliver highly specialist speech and language therapy assessment and intervention for people with learning disability and/or autism, with current or historical forensic needs and risk. This role will involve managing complex communication needs for people across different settings in the community, such as supported living and residential services, as well as supporting discharge from prison and hospital.

The ideal candidate will have a recognised SLT degree qualification or equivalent, HCPC registration, membership of RCSLT, and relevant advanced experience post qualification in specialist SLT field. They will also have excellent presentation skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to contribute to the development of clinical policies. An estimated salary for this role is around £55,000-£65,000 per year, depending on experience.
