About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workplace Health and Safety Specialist to join our team at Amazon UK Services Ltd. As a key member of our Safety team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and safety of our employees and contractors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective health and safety strategies to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Conduct regular site audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement safety training programs.
  • Monitor and analyze safety metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.

As a Workplace Health and Safety Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our operations teams to identify and mitigate risks, and to develop and implement effective safety strategies.

Requirements
  • NEBOSH Diploma/NVQ5 level or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience with UK Environment, Health and Safety legislation.
  • Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience of Lean, 5S, or Kaizen methodologies.
  • Experience of planning or managing environmentally conscious initiatives.
