SHE Advisor

Morson Talent is seeking a highly skilled SHE Advisor to join our team at our client's site in Barrow in Furness. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading Defence Client and contribute to improving SHE practice and performance.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead activities associated with improving SHE practice and performance within Weapon Systems UK, including the deployment and implementation of SHE Policy and Management Systems, SHE objectives and targets, and provision of competent SHE advice on risk management and control.
- Collate and provide SHE performance reports, investigate and report incidents in accordance with regulatory and/or customer requirements, and provide an effective interface with regulators and representatives dealing with liability issues.
- Support the development and implementation of innovative SHE change programmes, ensuring consistency and effective improvement in SHE risk management and embedding a culture of continuous improvement and the sharing of best practices.
- Hold one or more of the following QCF/NQF Level 3 (or higher) SHE qualifications: NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety; Level 3 NVQ in Occupational Safety and Health Practice; IEMA or NEBOSH Certificate in Environmental Management; or an equivalent qualification in a relevant subject.
- Comprehensive knowledge of SHE principles, practices, and regulations, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
