**Job Summary**
BAE - Submarine Solutions (SS) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety and Environmental Expert to join their team. This role is within the Defence & Security sector and is offered on a 6-month contract basis.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Providing expert advice on Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) matters to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and policies.
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate SHE risks.
* Developing and implementing effective SHE strategies to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
* Conducting regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with SHE regulations.
* Providing training and guidance to employees on SHE procedures and best practices.
**Requirements:**
* Proven experience in a Safety and Environmental role.
* Strong knowledge of SHE legislation and regulations.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
