Senior SHE Advisor

Morson Talent is working with the world's leading defence manufacturer to find a Senior SHE Advisor. This role requires SC clearance or eligibility for this level of clearance due to the sensitive nature of the work.
Job SummaryThe Senior SHE Advisor will support the development and deployment of the Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) policy, systems and objectives for a business or site(s). This role will provide competent SHE advice, systems and assurance to enable the business to successfully manage SHE and achieve company strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities- Support the development, maintenance and/or deployment of a SHE management system that meets the requirements of Systems Operational Framework and International SHE Standards.
- Provide competent and comprehensive SHE advice and support to Line Leaders to enable them to effectively manage SHE within their area(s) of responsibility.
- Supervise a team(s) of SHE professionals.
- Lead activities associated with improving SHE practice and performance within a business or site(s), including the deployment and implementation of SHE Policy and Management Systems, SHE objectives and targets, provision of competent SHE advice on risk management and control, and collation and provision of SHE performance reports.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SHE and experience in a similar role. They will be able to provide competent SHE advice and support to Line Leaders and supervise a team(s) of SHE professionals. The candidate will also be able to lead activities associated with improving SHE practice and performance within a business or site(s).
The role requires SC clearance or eligibility for this level of clearance due to the sensitive nature of the work.
