Barnardo's is committed to providing a high-quality service to foster parents and children across Wales. As a Fostering Practice Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our Pan-Wales service, working collaboratively with other professionals and foster parents. The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills and relevant experience of working with foster parents, children, and young people.

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £50,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a range of benefits, including 26 days annual leave, flexible working arrangements, and access to our Group Personal Pension scheme.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversight of the day-to-day operations of our Pan-Wales service
  • Working collaboratively with other professionals and foster parents
  • Developing and implementing effective strategies to improve service delivery
  • Managing a team of supervising social workers


Requirements:
  • Strong leadership skills and relevant experience of working with foster parents, children, and young people
  • Ability to think creatively in delivering high-quality support to foster parents
  • Significant post-qualifying experience of fostering social care practice
  • Registered with Social Care Wales
