About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Psychodynamic Psychotherapist to join our dynamic team at NELFT NHS Foundation Trust. As a Specialist Psychodynamic Psychotherapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychological assessments and interventions to adults with complex mental health difficulties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and develop treatment plans for patients with complex mental health needs.
  • Provide individual and group psychotherapy interventions to adults with severe mental health difficulties.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective communication and decision-making.
  • Offer consultation and supervision to colleagues on psychological aspects of patient care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of psychological services and policies.
Requirements
  • Master's level training in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy and registration with UKCP, BPC, or BACP.
  • Experience of working with high-risk patients and complex mental health conditions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of research methodology and data analysis.
