Radiographer - Paediatric Imaging Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking two motivated and enthusiastic Radiographers to join our team at the Royal Hospital for Children and Young People in Edinburgh. As a Radiographer in this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills in paediatric radiography, working with a range of state-of-the-art equipment and imaging modalities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Image and care for paediatric patients, as well as support adult imaging as required
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of imaging protocols and procedures
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques

Requirements:

  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Radiographer
  • Experience in paediatric radiography, preferably in a hospital setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Ability to work flexibly, including out-of-hours and weekend shifts, as required
