About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Support Mentor to join our team at T3am International. As a Support Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs, creating inclusive learning environments, and promoting academic growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide tailored 1 on 1 and group sessions to support students with special educational needs.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to enhance student engagement and adapt the curriculum.
  • Encourage personal development, independence, and academic growth.
  • Manage behaviours and promote a positive learning environment.
  • Track student progress and provide feedback to support plans.
Requirements
  • GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in Maths and English (Grade A-C).
  • Knowledge and understanding of special educational needs (SEN) and behaviour management.
  • Previous experience in a student support/mentoring position or similar.
  • An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months is required for this role.
Desirable Skills
  • Previous experience working as a support mentor or similar role in a college/higher education setting.
  • Prior experience supporting students with Autism or ADHD, or other complex needs.
